The story
Earth has been through hard years. A few chose to leave, bound for a new planet, to arrive ready to make better choices. You are one of them.
The ship is huge and you will never see it from the outside: you discover it by walking through it, one module at a time. Each module is a stretch of the journey and a piece of you.
Sym
The ship’s artificial intelligence, the half you are missing. It crosses the gates and explores the maze-worlds: you guide it. It brings knowledge, you bring humanity.
The Echo
The ghost of the past. It retraces your steps and wants to convince you that nothing can change. If it catches you, you will have to overcome a Doubt.

The journey so far
Each module: 10 levels and 2 story chapters. The journey continues with new modules.
What’s new
-
Module 6 · Identity Module 6, Identity, is here: ten new levels, L51 to L60, on the route to Neptune. It is the calmest module of the journey, with more tokens, a shield and a Slow charge in every level. The holograms show Neptune, Triton and Proteus, with real data. Three new puzzle rooms: recognise your own figure among five that look almost the same, find again the symbols you chose yourself, keep only three lights on out of twelve. Two new Rites, When All Is Gone and Who You Are Now, and a new object to piece together in the Collection: the Fingerprint. The three lights you choose stay in your Logbook. And in this module too, there is something for the curious to discover. The game moves to version 0.6.0.
-
Ship data In the first corridor of every module there is a panel with the real data of the journey: where the ship is, how far it is from the Sun and from Earth, how long a signal takes to reach home, how much sunlight gets there and what the temperature is on the planet. It changes at every stop.
-
A tidier Logbook In the Logbook, your earlier pages are now laid out in a calendar, with the face for each day. Badges are grouped by month. And the Collection is split by module: you open one module at a time.
-
Constellations in the telescope
The telescope’s “Go to” list now includes the constellations too: pick one and the telescope goes there by itself. The finder shows the lines and the name of the constellation you are looking at.
-
Mercury and Venus
The telescope now also opens real footage of Mercury and Venus, the two planets closest to the Sun, filmed as they pass in front of it: two clips each, in visible light and in ultraviolet. And Maze has a new icon, with “3D” on it.
-
Real footage From the telescope you can now open real footage from space probes and space telescopes: Earth turning and the Moon passing in front of it, Mars with Phobos, Jupiter filmed by Voyager 1, Io’s volcano, Saturn filmed by Cassini, Uranus, Neptune with Triton. Each clip tells you who filmed it, when, and how much it is sped up. The planets you have already passed stay in the sky: they are bright dots on the Sun’s side, along with Mercury and Venus, and the telescope locks onto them. And “Go to” lists what is in the sky: pick a name and the telescope moves there by itself. What the ship hides from one dome can be seen from another. The game moves to version 0.5.2.
-
The real sky From the ship’s windows you now see the sky as it really is: the stars in their true places, the Milky Way, and the constellations that join up, with their names, wherever your gaze rests. From every corridor you see the stop the ship has reached: the Sun has its true size, and it gets smaller at every stop. The planets spin the way they really do too, faster or slower than one another in true proportion, and Uranus backwards. And the surprises for the curious are now in every module: if you found the first one, you already know where to look.
-
The Dome and the telescope Above the ship there is a glass observatory, the Dome: one for each module. Shutters protect the glass: they open from the inside, and the sky appears all around, with the ship below. A telescope comes down at the centre: in the sight you get the real coordinates of where you are pointing, three magnifications and a finder to get your bearings. Lock onto a planet, a moon or a star and its card appears. Point at the Sun and the solar filter slides in, showing real footage from NASA’s SDO satellite, in white light (the sunspots) or in ultraviolet.
-
Sound In Settings, under Sound, there are now two sliders: one for music and one for sound effects. Set each volume the way you like. And as you walk down the module corridors, you can now hear your own footsteps. The game moves to version 0.5.1.
-
On the ship The Ship map is easier to use: the “Ship” and “Route” tabs stay in place at the top while you scroll. And there is a surprise for the curious: somewhere on the ship there is something new, and it appears on no map. Only those who watch where they step will find it.
-
The Route The Ship map has a second tab, the Route: it shows where the ship is in space, at four scales. Solar System, nearby stars, Milky Way and Universe, each with its own “You are here”. Stops already reached are lit, those ahead are dim outlines, and the destination has no name yet. There is also the “Sizes compared” view, with the planets at true scale. Open it from the map in the corridor, or from the Logbook, under Collections, with “Open the route”. The game moves to version 0.5.0: the middle number counts the playable modules.
-
Planet cards Tap a stop you have already reached to open its card: the planet spinning, how big it is compared to Earth, its distance from the Sun, how long its day and year last, how many moons it has, and two facts you won’t find in the holograms. There is a new stop too, the asteroid belt with Ceres. The data comes from NASA’s pages.
-
In game Inside the maze, at the top of the panel, a circle now shows which level you are in and how many stars you have already earned, in the same colour as the gate: yellow, orange with two stars, green with three. In puzzle rooms the timing bar and the minimap disappear: there you move freely. And new players get unlimited lives for their first three days.
-
Module 5 · Forgiveness Module 5, Forgiveness, is here: ten new levels, L41 to L50, beyond the door at the end of Module 4. The journey reaches Uranus. Three puzzle rooms where you have to think: From Their Place, The Two Pans and The Echo in the Mirror, which is played from above. Two new Rites, The Open Account and The Empty Pans.
-
The Scales and Uranus A new object to piece together in the Collection on board: the Scales, in five pieces hidden in the large rooms. When it is complete, the two pans come back into balance. New holograms to light up and tap: Uranus, spinning on its side, and its moons Miranda and Titania, each with a true fact.
-
Ship map In every module, on the wall at the start of the corridor, hangs a small map. Tap it to see the ship from the outside: the shape of the modules, a blinking dot where you are and, for each module, the levels cleared, the stars, the Rites and the Collection object. From there you can jump straight to any module already open, without walking the whole corridor again.
-
Module 4 · Trust Module 4, Trust, is here: ten new levels, L31 to L40, beyond the door at the end of Module 3. The journey reaches Saturn. In three levels walking is not enough, you have to think: The Two Voices, The Leap of Faith and The Hidden Rule. Two new Rites, Open Hands and The Invisible Bridge.
-
The Compass and Saturn A new object to piece together in the Collection on board: the Compass, in five pieces hidden in the large rooms. When it is complete, the needle finds north. New holograms to light up and tap: Saturn with its rings, Titan and Enceladus, each with a true fact.
-
Collection on board Next to the pieces of the kintsugi vase you are still missing, you can now see which piece it is and in which level to find it. Completed objects come alive when you open them: the vase’s golden cracks light up, the letter writes itself in gold, the chrysalis glows. And every now and then, in the corridor, GrinEvil or EvilGrin show up to remind you what you left behind: tap the speech bubble to open the Collection on that object. Once a day at most, and you can turn it off in Settings.
-
Updates Full screen on desktop, from Settings or from the button inside the level: the Map widens to fill the screen. Bigger key symbols. The Logbook blinks when you find a new planet, note or badge, and opens on the right page.
-
Logbook The Logbook becomes a shelf, with one volume per module and its own index: “My day” (it stays on your device only), the doubts overcome and the “Outside the maze” page. New Collections, Badges and Collection on board under the Growth button. Planet holograms light up as you get close.
-
Updates Daily, game and per-level leaderboards, with your traveller number: you can change your name or hide it, and a notice tells you when someone overtakes you. Day streaks in the Daily Challenge and community stats at the end of each level. Sym lends a hand after a few attempts without three stars. The game resumes from the last level you played.
-
In game A big step counter at the top, which turns red for the last 3 steps. A key compass in the Shop: an arrow on the floor shows you the way. A power-up counter for the three stars, and undone steps no longer count. Rites wait for you to press “I’ve read it”, and orange gates mark 2-star levels.
-
0.3.0 Module 3, Imperfection, is here: 10 new levels, two story chapters and the Room of Cracks. The Echo appears. Stars now depend on objectives.
